David Levitt is a Seattle based lighting designer. A Brooklyn, New York native, David graduated from Washington University in Saint Louis in 2015 as a B. A. in Drama with a concentration in Lighting Design. Since returning to New York, his designs have featured at venues throughout New York City, including Saint Bartholomew’s Church, Theater Row, American Theater for Actors, Theater for the New City, The Kaplan Penthouse, The Castillo Theater, The Tank, Access Theater, American Theater for Actors, The Theater at Gibney 280 Broadway, Jamaica Performing Arts Center, GKArts Center, Hudson Guild, Fourth Street Theater, and Symphony Space. David’s designs have featured nationally in regional productions spanning thirteen US states. David has also worked substantially in broadcast television as part of The Lighting Design Group, with primary credits including CNN, Bloomberg, Peloton, and Good Morning Football. He has had the pleasure of collaborating with two Sports Emmy Award winning production teams - Good Morning Football (Outstanding Daily Studio Show - 2021) and NBC’s Super Bowl XVI Pregame Show (Outstanding Technical Team - 2021).

David is currently a lighting designer at Rushing - an architectural engineering firm in Seattle. David frequently collaborates with Bellevue Lighting - a Seattle based rvent production firm - and is active as the Lighting Designer for the ongoing national tour of Black Angels Over Tuskegee (Layon Gray Productions).
